RIVER NORTH — Two prominent hospitality companies are joining forces to create a “one-of-a-kind private members club” in River North, the groups announced.

Tao Group Hospitality, Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants and award-winning interior designer Joyce Wang are partnering to open the social club late next year, according to a news release.

The exact location and membership details have yet to be released. A spokesperson for the restaurant groups said more information is “coming soon.”

The new members’ club will join Soho House and the forthcoming Astor Club as exclusive members-only experiences in Chicago.

“We believe this project will bring a new, curated social and dining experience to our community,” R.J. Melman, president of Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants, said in a statement.

Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants owns and operates more than 110 establishments across the country. Tao Group Hospitality operates more than 70 locations across the world, specializing in nightclubs, lounges, restaurants and various “daylife” venues.

“I have admired Lettuce and have been friends with the Melmans for almost 20 years,” Noah Tepperberg, co-CEO of Tao Group Hospitality, said in a statement. “We are thrilled to be working together and think this will be one of the country’s most exciting membership clubs.”
