LINCOLN SQUARE — Café Selmarie is hosting an online sale of its memorabilia until 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Owner Birgit Kobayashi is putting some of the restaurant’s artwork, photos, dishes and other memorabilia up for sale via this website. Interested buyers can visit the online ordering page but have to pick up the merchandise by 5 p.m. Tuesday at the former Selmarie, 4729 N. Lincoln Ave.

The “garage sale” was announced via an Instagram post Monday.

Items for sale include framed photos of cakes and magazine and news articles about the business that graced Selmarie’s walls, as well as a toy circus train set

Branded coffee mugs and tote bags have already sold out.

Last week, longtime fans visited the cafe for the last time before it closed Saturday after 40 years in business.

Kobayashi previously told Block Club her post-retirement plans include traveling with her grandchildren, who are in their late teens and early 20s.

Andrew Pillman, owner of Lincoln Square Taproom, 4721 N. Lincoln Ave., will be taking over the location with plans to open Willow Café & Bistro.
