UNION PARK — Alanis Morissette, Jamie xx and Black Pumas will headline the Pitchfork music fest this summer.

The lineup for the fest, set to takeover Union Park, 1501 W. Randolph St., July 19-21, was revealed Wednesday. The long list of supporting acts includes Jai Paul, Carly Rae Jepsen, Jessie Ware, Grandmaster Flash and De La Soul, as well as local indie rock band Lifeguard and vocalist and pianist Akenya.

Tickets for the fest are on sale now and start at $109 for single-day passes and $219 for three-day passes. A Pitchfork PLUS upgraded ticket, priced at $199 for a single-day pass or $399 for a three-day pass, includes access to the PLUS lounge, a dedicated entrance to the festival and other amenities.

Pitchfork is also offering a new VIP upgrade, which includes preferred viewing spots, access to backstage lounges and reserved parking, complimentary beverages and daily catered meals as well as tarot readings and massages. The VIP upgrade costs $379 for a single-day pass and $699 for a three-day pass.

More information can be found on the fest website.

Earlier this year, the Pitchfork publication was folded into GQ magazine, followed by layoffs. But a Condé Nast spokesman at the time told the Sun-Times that the Chicago festival was still in the works.
