CHICAGO — It’s you, Ticketmaster, you’re the problem.

That’s what Taylor Swift fans are saying Thursday after the ticket selling giant called off general public sales to Swift’s first tour in five years.

“Due to extraordinarily high demands on ticketing systems and insufficient remaining ticket inventory to meet that demand, tomorrow’s public on-sale for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour has been cancelled,” Ticketmaster tweeted Thursday afternoon.

The announcement came after two chaotic days of pre-sales — where hundreds of fans reported a glitching or broken Ticketmaster website. There was supposed to be a general public sale Friday, but now fans without tickets have nowhere to turn but StubHub and other resale sites with significantly inflated prices.

Swift is slated to play three shows at Chicago’s Soldier Field on June 2-4.

Tickets for floor seating at the stadium’s June 3 show were $1,100-$8,300 each on StubHub Thursday. The lowest price — for the nosebleed seats — was $630 per ticket.

On Twitter and TikTok, Swift fans — and even politicians — blasted Ticketmaster and blamed scalpers and bots for their inability to snag tickets. Swift herself has yet to comment on the situation.
