LOGAN SQUARE — Trike Thai Noodles & Sushi has closed after eight years on Milwaukee Avenue.

The popular Thai restaurant at 2539 N. Milwaukee Ave. recently closed after the owners decided to fold the eatery into their second Logan Square spot about a half-mile south, they announced on Facebook.

Signs announcing the change went up on Trike’s door within the past couple of weeks.

Three Wheels Noodle, 2339 N. Milwaukee Ave., is now called Trike Noodle, serving “your new favorite[s] with all of your old favorites,” the post said.

The owners didn’t return messages seeking comment.

Trike was a local favorite for its affordable Thai and pan-Asian fare. The restaurant served an array of noodle dishes, sushi and Bangkok beef noodle soup.

The owners, who also run Nori Sushi restaurants, opened Three Wheels Noodle — originally Red Wheels Noodle — in 2018 as a sister restaurant to Trike.

Three Wheels Noodle replaced late-night poutine spot Q-Tine, which closed in 2017 after less than two years in business.
