LITTLE VILLAGE —The Marshall Square Resource Network Education and Wellness Summit will discuss coronavirus, mental health and more during a free virtual series this month.

Kicking off Tuesday, the series of six virtual events in Spanish and English will discuss a range of topics, including myths around COVID-19 vaccines, mental health, yoga and gardening. The summit runs until April 20.

“One of the Marshall Square Resource Network’s goals is to create positive opportunities for the community to come together, celebrate our strengths, build personal connections, and increase awareness of the resources available right here in our neighborhood,” said Latinos Progresando CEO Luis Gutierrez.

“Given the disproportionate toll that the pandemic, in particular, has had on the South Lawndale community, our goal for this year’s summit is to provide important resources, but also open the door for hope and healing,” Guiterrez said.

Summit schedule, workshop descriptions and registration information can be found online.
