ENGLEWOOD — My Block, My Hood, My City is on a mission to get Chicago’s older people vaccinated.

The nonprofit is teaming up with Chicago Vaccine Angels and Innovative Express Care to connect people 65 and older with open vaccination appointments.

People 65 and older can sign up for an appointment online via My Block, My Hood, My City’s website. After that, a volunteer will try to connect them to a nearby vaccination site.

Participants won’t be able to choose which vaccine they will receive.
