WICKER PARK — A high-end vintage retailer specializing in rare men’s shoes and clothing is about to open its largest store in America in Wicker Park.
Round Two Chicago will open Saturday at 1501 N. Milwaukee Ave., co-owner Sean Wotherspoon said in an Instagram post.
The shop will combine a main store, a vintage store and a Round Two “merch store,” Wotherspoon said.
Round Two Chicago will replace Beach House Social, a restaurant that closed last year.
Round Two will be the fourth business in four years to try to make it work inside the 1880s-era vintage building at the corner of Milwaukee and Honore.
Bom Bolla, a fine-dining Spanish restaurant and cava bar, opened there May 2015. But just eight months later, Bom Bolla closed and a new restaurant, Mahalo, took over its lease.
Last year, Mahalo re-branded and became Beach House Social. A few months later, Beach House Social closed, too.

Round Two was first established in Virginia in 2013 by Wotherspoon, Chris Russow and Luke Fracher.
Since then, Round Two has expanded to Los Angeles, New York City and South Beach.
Instagram posts advertise a range of items at various prices, from a $150 pair of vintage Space Jam shoes to a $300 “Supreme” hoodie displaying Michael Jackson’s face to a $1,000 pair of Travis Scott Jordans.
