CHICAGO — A fur-wearing robber stole a woman’s phone on the Brown Line on Monday, police said.

At 9:06 p.m. Monday, the woman was standing on that platform of the Sedgwick station, 1536 N. Sedgwick Ave., when the man walked up to her and took her phone out of her hand, police said. He ran away afterward.

A photo released by police shows the man wearing what appears to be a white fur stole, similar to a scarf. He was described as a black man who was 20-30 years old, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10 and 160-190 pounds, police said.

Anyone with information about the robbery was asked to call police at 312-747-8380.
