DOWNTOWN — The Museum of Science and Industry will be free for half of every week this month.

The museum at 5700 S. Lake Shore Drive is free Sunday to Wednesday every week throughout September for Illinois residents.

Non-Illinois residents can also enjoy free days on Sundays this month.

Those who want to visit can reserve tickets online. Visitors will be able to explore the museum’s exhibits, including its human-sized hamster wheel and large Tesla Coil, but some special exhibits require additional tickets.
