MILLENNIUM PARK — Millennium Park will host free concerts, movie screenings, workouts and more this summer.

The Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events on Thursday released its summer lineup for Millennium Park, 201 E. Randolph St., which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.

The park’s popular summer film series will run Tuesdays July 16–Aug. 20 and will feature blockbusters like “Barbie,” “Coco” and “Jurassic Park,” according to the city. The movies will be shown on a 40-foot LED screen while viewers watch from the great lawn.

The Summer Music Series runs Mondays and Thursdays July 1–Aug. 8 at Jay Pritzker Pavilion. Corinne Bailey Rae, Terrace Martin, Charlie Musselwhite, Buscabulla and others are expected to perform, according to the city.

Fitness lovers can also enjoy the Millennium Park Summer Workouts most Saturdays from May 18–Aug.31. Free workouts on the great lawn include pilates, yoga, cardio kickboxing and Zumba, according to the city.

A 20th anniversary weekend celebration will take place July 18–21.
