DOWNTOWN — Santa Claus returns to Macy’s on State Street this weekend, along with the department store’s 45-foot-tall tree.

Residents can attend the 115th annual tree-lighting ceremony 11:15 a.m. Saturday at Macy’s Walnut Room, 111 N. State St. This year’s toy-shop-themed tree will be on display until Jan. 8, according to a Macy’s news release.

Throughout the season, visitors can dine under the tree at the Walnut Room restaurant. Reservations for the season are available on Open Table.

Families who want to see Santa by Dec. 24 must also make reservations.  Reservations can be made up to five days in advance and open online 6:30 a.m. daily. Santa will be at his desk, wish list in hand, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. daily, with average wait times of 30-90 minutes, according to Macy’s.

Saturday also signals the unveiling of the store’s holiday window displays.
