The Windy City Rollers Want To Teach You How To Roller Skate

There are two classes in August costing $25, and the first class is Saturday. No experience is necessary, and there will be equipment available to borrow.

The Windy City Rollers are hosting $25 rollerskating lessons for adults where people can learn the basics of moving around on wheels.

ROGERS PARK — Chicago’s premier roller derby league is offering roller skating lessons for adults starting this week. 

The classes will be hosted by the Windy City Rollers. They are 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday and the same time Aug. 27 at Willye B. White Park, 1610 W. Howard St, according to the Windy City Rollers’ Facebook

No experience is necessary, and participants can borrow equipment, according to the post.

Attendees must be at least 18 years old and can expect to learn basic skating skills, ways to stop and fitness techniques on wheels.
