Block Club Chicago’s “It’s All Good” podcast is here!
Episode 1 is named “The Chef and the Swimmer” after two Chicagoans making our neighborhoods great. Chef Mike Airhart was inspired to create Taste for the Homeless after watching a pizza vendor throw away food in front of a man who is homeless at the Taste of Chicago.
Miriam Franchi, a former Roberto Clemente Community Academy swimmer, was shocked to find out the boys and girls programs had been dormant for years. She decided to change that.
Also, if you have good news, share it with the team email@example.com. Feel free to record a voice memo of your news so we can share it with all of our listeners!
New episodes of “It’s All Good” will go live every Thursday.
