CHICAGO — Warmer weather finally reached Chicago after a long cold snap, but it’s going take a lot of it to clear the snow and the ice that blanketed Chicago last week.

The city is still encased in ice, with melting snow creating some spectacular and dangerous formations. Here’s a look at what Block Club Chicago photographer Colin Boyle found Monday:
