CHICAGO — The city will see cooler weather and lots of sun this week.

After weeks of 90-degree, humid days, the city will see temperatures drop into the 80s and 70s. It’ll start Monday, which has an expected high temperature of 83 degrees and should be mostly sunny, according to the National Weather Service.

Tuesday will hit just 75 degrees, and it will be cloudy with a chance for rain and thunderstorms.

Wednesday will be sunny and will warm back up to 84 degrees, and Thursday’s expected to hit 85. Thursday will be partly sunny with a chance for storms, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday will cool back down to 76 degrees and is expected to be sunny.
