UPTOWN — A holiday arts and vintage market will be held by Uptown Arcade Saturday, for those looking for a unique gift this season.

The 21-and-up event will take place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Uptown Arcade, 4830 N. Broadway. It is the first time Uptown Arcade has held such an event.

There will be 17 vendors at the market, selling a mix of homemade art, crafts and vintage items.

Included in the vendors set to attend is Mandi Kay of Restitch Reality Art, who makes collages using recent and vintage material from magazines and books. Kirk Williamson of When Vintage will be on hand, selling his “one of a kind” lighting and classic records.

Uptown resident Savy Leiser will also be on hand to sell her children’s book set and accompanying toys, which highlight local rescue dogs and their stories of survival. Another maker will be on hand to sell dog accessories.

Uptown Arcade will be playing holiday-theme vinyl records during the event, and holiday drink specials will also be available.
