DOWNTOWN — Chicago Park District signs famously proclaim there are no “poop fairies” at the parks to pick up after your dog — and now you can put one in your house.

The Park District launched its new online store Monday night — and it’s got everything from toddler hoodies to skateboards, shower curtains and prints of vintage photos. A portion of all the sales supports the Chicago Park District and its programs.

Supporters of the parks can choose from various designs and then apply them to the product of their choice: The logo for Maggie Daley Park can be made into a fine art print or a throw pillow, while a photo of Soldier Field in 1930 can be turned into a bath mat or a canvas print.

Other available designs include a colorful illustration of Buckingham Fountain, the Park District’s famous “There is no poop fairy” sign and a 1908 photo of Humboldt Park.

T-shirts will cost $15 and other items will be discounted Wednesday to Dec. 3.

A photo of the park district’s 1966 anti-litter campaign is among the vintage prints for sale.
