CHICAGO — A robber has held up people at gunpoint three times in recent days in Wicker Park and Bucktown.

The robber walked up to victims and said something to get their attention, then held them up at gunpoint, according to a Chicago Police community alert. He ran away afterward.

The robberies occurred:

  • 10:40 p.m. June 4 in the 1400 block of North Damen Avenue
  • 9:10 p.m. June 9 in the 1600 block of North Honore Street
  • 10:15 p.m. June 10 in the 1400 block of North Hoyne Avenue

The robber was 20-28 years old, 140-145 pounds and had short, black hair, police said.
