CHICAGO — A 22-year-old man was shot Wednesday night in Bowmanville.
At 9:39 p.m., the man was standing on the sidewalk in the 5200 block of North Damen Avenue when he got into an argument with three people, police said. The argument turned into a fight and one of the other people took out a gun and fired shots.
The man was hit in his cheek and in his left knee. He was taken to St. Francis Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as “stable,” police said.
The gunman and the other people ran away. No one was in custody.
An investigation was ongoing.
