CHICAGO — Lincoln Park restaurant Zella will close after the end of the month.
The restaurant had been at 1983 N. Clybourn Ave. for nearly two decades. Its menu focused on tacos, but Zella also offered a brunch buffet on the weekends and hosted special events like an upcoming costume contest for Halloween.
It announced the closing in a Facebook post on Friday.
“It’s with a heavy heart and fuzzy memory that we announce that Zella’s lease has ended,” the restaurant wrote on Facebook.
The restaurant will close Nov. 1, and it asks fans to come by a final time “and help us go out in true Zella fashion.”
