LOGAN SQUARE — Two people, a 21-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, were shot in Logan Square Tuesday evening, according to police.

The shooting happened just after 6:50 p.m. in the 3200 block of West Wellington Avenue, police said.

The victims were in a car in an alley when a man approached, took out a gun and opened fire.

The 21-year-old was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital with a gunshot wound to the right arm. The 17-year-old, who suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg, was also taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital.

The victims’ conditions weren’t available with police saying only that they were “stable.”

Detectives are investigating.
