Wicker Park Farmers Market

Vendors and local farmers will set up at the market 10 a.m.-3 p.m. select Sundays through mid-April.

This year's market will feature 46 vendors, ranging from local farms to bakeries and a local pet treat store.

The popular market will be held at the Den Theatre on Milwaukee Avenue through April.

The performance will feature live versions of pieces from a neighborhood walking tour produced by the Access Contemporary Music school.

Like last year, the market will be plastic-free, will require masks and will enforce social distancing.

The 2021 outdoor market will begin in May and run weekly through October.

Customers can place their orders online during the week and pick up their orders at the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce.

For the first time in 20 years, Nichols Farm did not operate a booth Sunday. Market organizers said the farm wouldn't comply with coronavirus rules, but the farm's owner alleges a personal vendetta.

Only 50 shoppers will be allowed in the market at a time. Volunteers are needed to help with patron counts and crowd flow.

Shoppers can place orders online and pick up their food Sunday mornings at Big Star.

The market will run on the first Saturday of each month December-April.

The market starts Sunday at 8 a.m. and runs through Oct. 27 at 1425 N. Damen Ave.

"We want our neighbors to know who we are and what we're about," said Sarah Neukom, one of the space's co-owners.

Instructors from Nature Yoga Sanctuary and Mirepoix Yoga and Wellness Studio will lead the 45-minute classes.
