                            ‘Hit The Hood’ Organizers Gearing Up For A Labor Day Weekend Full Of Fun And Activism

                            Grants of $5,000 each are available to organizers of community-led events across Chicago. A fish fry in Chatham, a South Shore back-to-school celebration and a march against the city's police contract are already in the works.
