LAKEVIEW — The Guild is closing its clothing boutique on the Southport Corridor and moving to the suburbs.
The Guild, 3726 N. Southport Ave., will close at the end of this year and move to a showroom in north suburban Highland Park, according to an Instagram post. Until then, everything in the shop is 60 percent off.
“We are interested in refining our business model in order to offer a more curated, personalized shopping experience for our wonderful customer base while expanding into new markets,” the Guild posted on Instagram.
The new location will allow the business to host events and create registries for weddings, birthdays, charities and other occasions.
The address of the suburban shop has yet to be announced, but it will open in January and be available by appointment only.
