ENGLEWOOD — The countdown is on for the third annual Englewood Music Festival, and two Miami-born rappers are expected to hit the stage.
The Englewood Music Festival will return at noon Sept. 16 at 63rd and Halsted. Neighbors can visit the free event for live performances, art activations, goods from local vendors and more. You can RSVP for the festival here.
Trick Daddy and Trina, who collaborated on the Billboard-charting hit “Nann,” will headline the festival. In recent years, Trina has collaborated with other chart-topping rappers like Flo Milli, Latto and Saweetie.

Ald. Stephanie Coleman (16th), whose office is co-sponsoring the event, helped launch the first festival in 2021 to bring another family-fun event to the community.
This year’s festival theme will honor “Englewood Excellence — its past, present and future,” according to the event description.
“The live performances are great, but it’s the programming, the vibe, the energy, and the love that you’ll truly feel,” Coleman has previously said. “We deserve this. There is good in Englewood.”
Artists interested in performing at the South Side celebration can contact the festival’s organizers at talent@englewoodmusicfest.com.
