GOLD COAST — Your kids may love building Legos — but soon they’ll be able to eat them.
You can visit “Brick Burger,” a pop-up Lego burger restaurant, Sept. 23-24 inside the Lego Store Water Tower Place, 800 N. Michigan Ave., #3000. The brick-themed pop-up will serve burgers in Lego brick form and in different colors like green, black, red and yellow.

The Lego restaurant will feature colorful brick walls and furniture, as well as a Lego brick station where visitors can let their imaginations run wild. There will be weekly building contests for ambitious Lego builders.
“We love Chicago and we think there is such big potential in Chicago for pop-up events,” said Shelley Allen, a spokesperson for Brick Burger, via email.
Your Lego lunch will cost $47 for a Lego brick burger and a soft drink. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free burgers are also available. Early bird tickets can be purchased online.
“I think all ages can enjoy the nostalgia of Lego,” said Allen. “There is something for everyone at Brick Burger.”
