‘Eras Week’ Starts Sunday Ahead Of Taylor Swift’s Chicago Stop. Here’s Where You Can Brunch, Dance And Celebrate Her Music

Taylor Swift is returning to Soldier Field for three nights of concerts June 2-4, and bars across Chicago are hosting events to celebrate.

CHICAGO — Chicago is entering its Taylor Swift era this weekend as bars across the city are hosting a variety of 21-and-older events for fans to shake it off.

Swift is set to perform three nights at Soldier Field June 2-4 as part of her “Eras Tour,” a retrospective look at the musician’s career from her debut album to her latest, “Midnights.”

From drag brunches to dance parties and pop-ups, Block Club rounded up six events for Swifties — with or without tickets — to celebrate their fandom.

Eras Week Kickoff

7:30 p.m.-2 a.m. Sunday

Scarlet, 3320 N. Halsted St.

Popular Northalsted bar Scarlet is throwing a kickoff party to Eras week, where DJ Brryce Ferscher will play all Taylor, all night. Drag queens Miranda and Platinum Carrington will host. The bar will offer $5 well drinks until 9 p.m.

Taylor Swift Friendship Bracelet-Making And Dance Party

3 p.m. Sunday

Replay Lincoln Park, 2833 N. Sheffield Ave.

Friends who love Taylor Swift can bond while making friendship bracelets ahead of her Eras Tour stop. Bracelet kits are $15 and come with three bracelets to make that reference Swift’s music. At 8 p.m., Replay Lincoln Park will turn into a Taylor Swift dance party with a ticket raffle for her show. Enter the raffle here.

Taylor Swift Trivia

8 p.m. Tuesday

Sidetrack, 3349 N. Halsted St.

Fans who know Taylor Swift’s many eras will excel at Sidetrack’s Swiftie edition of its weekly trivia night. The bar will play Taylor Swift music videos all night and give away prizes.

Taylor Swift Karaoke

9 p.m. Wednesday

Replay Lakeview, 3439 N. Halsted St.

Swifties can belt their favorite tracks during a Taylor Swift-themed karaoke night at Replay Lakeview. The bar will do giveaways of vinyls, clothing and other prizes. Signups begin at 9 p.m.

Taylor Swift Pop-Up Sing-A-Long Happy Hour

5-7 p.m. Friday

Replay Lincoln Park, 2833 N. Sheffield Ave.

Replay Lincoln Park, which is in the middle of a Taylor Swift-themed pop-up, will hold a sing-a-long happy hour the night of her first show in Chicago. The bar will have $5 shots and play her “1989” and “Reputation” albums.

‘In My Swifty Era’ Drag Brunch

11 a.m.-12:45 p.m. and 2-3:45 p.m. June 4

Offshore Rooftop & Bar, 1000 E. Grand Ave.

The rooftop bar is hosting a Taylor Swift-themed drag brunch with performances by drag powerhouses Miss Toto, Utica, Mimi Marks and Bella DeBalle. Doors open at 10 a.m. for the first show and 1 p.m. for the second. Tickets cost $64.99-$99 and are available here.
