WRIGLEYVILLE — A chain live music bar is coming to the Addison & Clark building in Wrigleyville.

Tin Roof, which first opened in Nashville and now has nearly two dozen locations across the U.S., is renovating the space at 3519 N. Clark St. to open the new bar, according to permits on the building’s door.

Crews were inside the space Thursday, demolishing its existing walls in preparation for new improvements that will suit Tin Roof.

Building permits for Tin Roof have been placed on the door of 3519 N. Clark St.

The first Tin Roof opened in 2002 near Nashville’s Music Row, according to the bar’s website. It was a place for musicians to play and hang out after their shows.

There are now 21 Tin Roofs across the U.S., including bars in Indianapolis, Detroit and Kansas City, according to the website.
