FULTON MARKET — Popular Logan Square cocktail bar Estereo has opened a second location in Fulton Market.

Estereo FM, 1001 W. Fulton Market, is open and serving up slushy cocktails, food and coffee to morning commuters, according to a news release.

The new location is similar to its flagship location with its iconic concrete island bar, huge windows that open when it’s warm, patterned tile floors and leather topped bar stools — but its owners are promising a “totally unique cocktail experience.”

The bar will play primarily Latin and Afro-Carribbean music from the 60’s and 70’s — all on vinyl, of course.

The spot’s opening menu is similar to the Logan Square menu for now, but eventually it will have cocktails of its own, according to a news release. The Breezy cocktail, a Logan Square staple, will have a permanent spot on the menu.

Estereo FM will have two frozen cocktail machines featuring a rotating seasonal drink with mezcal and tequila. Each can be enjoyed as a standalone drink, or mixed as a “swirl” slushy.

The cocktail menu also includes a Premium Reposado Old Fashioned along with a wider selection of high end and organic tequilas, mezcals and other lesser known spirits from the Caribbean, Central and South America, according to a news release.

The new cocktail lounge will also serve coffee and food, due to an abundance of residential buildings near Estereo FM.

Morning coffee will be served Tuesday through Sunday by Four Letter Word, while Cafe Tola will offer a limited selection of empanadas.

Estereo FM is open 4 p.m.-2 a.m. Mondays and 7:30 a.m.-2 a.m. Tuesday-Sunday.
