Neighbors Can Hear About Near West Side Developments At Tuesday Meeting

Organizers will talk about plans for a new restaurant, the Blackhawks possibly expanding their role in the area and a proposed music venue.

NEAR WEST SIDE — Neighbors can learn about proposed developments in Near West Side during a community meeting next week.

HOW United Community Organization will host the meeting — its first since the start of the pandemic — to discuss local developments 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Malachy School, 2252 W. Washington St. Attendance is free and open to the public.

Organizers will talk about plans for a new restaurant, the Blackhawks possibly expanding their role in the area and a proposed music venue, according to a news release.

The music venue, which will be called The Note, will be a live music event with R&B, pop, classic hip hop and jazz artists.

Ald. Walter Burnett (27th) will attend.
