Wicker Park Groups Holding Plant Sale Saturday To Benefit Gardens In Neighborhood’s Namesake Park

WICKER PARK — Herbs, vegetables, flowers, house plants and more will be for sale this weekend in Wicker Park’s namesake park.

The Wicker Park Garden Club and other groups are hosting their annual plant sale 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday to raise money for upkeep of the park’s expansive gardens.

The sale will be set up on the west side of the Wicker Park fieldhouse, 1425 N. Damen Ave.

All plants for sale will be hand-selected by Wicker Park Garden Club members, organizers said. Free native pollinator seeds will also be available from event sponsor Rose Pest Solutions.

Anyone interested in volunteering can sign up online. The sale’s rain date is 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.
