After Monday’s Spring Showers, Chicago To See 70s And Sunshine This Week

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be sunny, but the rain may return for the weekend.

CHICAGO — The city could hit 70 degrees this week — but it could also see more rain.

Monday is expected to be rainy and foggy, with thunderstorms possible after 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. There could be wind gusts up to 25 mph, and it’ll only warm up to about 55 degrees.

But Tuesday will see the return of sunshine: The day is expected to be mostly sunny and slightly warmer, with a high of 58 degrees.

Wednesday will see sun, too, and it could get as warm as 62 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Thursday will see more of the same, with mostly sunny skies and a high temperature near 66 degrees, according to the weather service.

There’s a chance for rain showers after 1 a.m. Friday, with the early morning staying mostly cloudy. Friday will be mostly cloudy with a chance for showers, though it could warm up to 66 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday and Sunday will also have chances for rain, and they’ll see temperatures in the low 60s.
