LINCOLN PARK — A handful of new businesses have recently opened or plan on setting up shop soon in Lincoln Park, including two on Armitage Avenue.
Here’s a roundup of the four restaurants joining the community.

The Briny Swine
The Briny Swine, 2577 N. Clark St., is expected to open this summer, according to the South Carolina-based barbecue restaurant’s Instagram.
This will be the second location for the Briny Swine, which started in Edisto Beach, South Carolina, and is known for its whole hog barbecue, brisket, shrimp, blue crab and oysters, according to a recent Eater article.
The Chicago restaurant will be twice the size and have capacity for 200 diners, according to Eater. It will also have a bigger kitchen, which will allow the chefs to introduce new menu items.

Buck Mason
This Los Angeles-based clothing brand opened March 4 at 854 W. Armitage Ave. in Lincoln Park, according to a report from Modern Luxury.
Founded in 2013 in Venice Beach, California, Buck Mason sells elevated clothing basics for all genders. The Chicago store marks Buck Mason’s 23rd brick-and-mortar store across the United States.

Leonidas Chocolate Cafe
Leonidas Chocolate Cafe, 1964 N. Halsted St., is replacing the old Gepperth’s Meat Market, which closed last year after 115 years in Chicago.
Leonidas already has locations Downtown, as well as suburban Evanston and Northbrook, according to its website. This will be Leonidas’ fourth cafe.
The cafe sells everything from coffees and teas to chocolates, crepes, waffles and other breakfast meals, according to its menu.

Todd Snyder

Nicknamed “The Townhouse,” Todd Snyder is on the ground floor of a Victorian-era townhome built in 1877. The shop sells men’s clothing, including everyday wear, suits, shoes and accessories.
