WICKER PARK — The Wicker Park Farmers Market returns Sunday for the launch of its outdoor season in the neighborhood’s namesake park.

The market will run 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Sundays through the end of October.

New vendors this year include Logan Vegan, Just Add Flour, Only Plants, 2Twenty Bakery, and Blessa Soaps. Fehr Brothers Farms, River Valley Ranch, Petals, and Iron Creek will be among the returning vendors.

The market’s opening day will include educational programming for kids from Cruelty Free You + Me about veganism and a guided mantras and mediation session with Curación Collective.

The weekly market sponsored by the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce will also feature composting resources from Waste Not Compost. The market is plastic and styrofoam free, and shoppers are encouraged to bring their own bags.
