It Could Hit The 60s And Be Sunny This Weekend After A Chilly, Rainy Start To The Week

Chicago just needs to get through a rainy, chilly start to this week.

CHICAGO — The city’s expected to have a rainy, chilly Monday — but it could hit the 60s this weekend.

The city will get rain showers and wind Monday, with gusts up to 40 mph possible and up to a half-inch of rain expected, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will hit 44 degrees.

Tuesday will be slightly warmer, with a high of 49 degrees, according to the weather agency. The day will be breezy, with wind gusts up to 30 mph, and the skies will be mostly cloudy. There’s a chance for showers in the afternoon.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and could hit 50 degrees.

Thursday and Friday are expected to get as warm as 58 and 59 degrees, and both days will be mostly sunny, according to the weather agency.

Saturday will see similar weather, with a high of 58 degrees and mostly sunny skies expected, according to the National Weather Service. Sunday will be mostly sunny and could hit 60 degrees.
