Prepare For 40-Degree Weather, Possible Rain This Weekend

The city could get more thunderstorms Thursday night.

CHICAGO — The city will get battered by thunderstorms Thursday — and there’s more chances for rain this weekend.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely after 5 p.m. Thursday, according to the National Weather Service. It’ll be mostly cloudy with a high near 78 degrees. Wind gusts could hit up to 35 mph.

Friday is expected to be partly sunny with a high near 64 degrees, according to the weather agency. There’s a 30 percent chance for showers overnight.

Saturday has a 30 percent of showers after 1 p.m. The day is expected to be partly sunny with a high near 49 degrees.

Sunday is expected to be partly sunny with a high near 48 degrees.
