WEST TOWN — W.I.T.C.H., Dan Deacon and a range of bands, DJs and musicians will perform at West Town’s annual street festivals this summer.

Do Division Street Fest, West Fest Chicago and Dancing in the Streets are organized every year by the West Town Chamber of Commerce, which partners with local businesses to host the weekend-long events.

Do Division will run June 2-4 on Division Street from Damen Avenue to Leavitt Street. Its headliners are W.I.T.C.H (We Intend To Cause Havoc), Bobby Oroza, Dan Deacon, Jesse Royal and Vundabar.

West Fest is July 7-9, and it will close down Chicago Avenue between Damen Avenue and Wood Street. Performers include DJs Nikki Nair, Anna Morgan, Mark Farina and Derrick Carter.

Dancing in the Streets will return Aug. 4-6 on Hubbard Street between Paulina and Wood streets. The “brain child” of On Tour Brewing founder Mark Legenza, the festival regularly features local jam bands and craft beer. This year’s performers include Magic Bus, Wood Street Bloodhounds, Afro Dead and rock & rye.

Each street fest also features local vendors and restaurants. Admission is free, but an optional $10 donation benefits the chamber and schools in the larger West Town and Wicker Park community.

Full lineups for each festival are expected to be released next month.
