PILSEN — A car hit another car then crashed into a home in Pilsen on Sunday evening, police said.
A man driving a red Chevy around 7:50 p.m. was turning north onto Paulina Street when he struck an oncoming car, lost control as he continued north and drove into a home on the corner of 21st Place and Paulina Street.
The driver of the Chevy left the scene after the crash, police said.
It’s unclear if the homeowners were inside at the time of the crash. Fire Department officials determined there was no structural damage to the home, and no one was injured inside.
A 26-year-old woman in the other car was hospitalized in good condition, police said.
Area Three detectives are investigating and no one is in custody, police said.
