It Could Hit The 60s Friday In Chicago — But There’s A Chance For Snow First

Prepare for possible thunderstorms, snow — and warmer weather.

CHICAGO — Snow and thunderstorms are possible this week — but there’s also a chance the city could hit the 60s.

Tuesday is expected to be clear with partly sunny skies, 5-mph winds and a high of 46 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

There’s a chance for snow Wednesday morning, according to the weather agency. The day will be cloudy, but skies will open up in the afternoon, and it could hit 40 degrees. Wind gusts could reach 25 mph.

Thursday has a chance for rain in the afternoon, but the day will be mostly sunny and could top out at 51 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. There will be wind gusts up to 15 mph.

Rain is possible Friday, and there could be thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, according to the weather agency. But the day is expected to be warmer, with a high near 62 degrees.
