CHICAGO — It might be spring in Chicago — but the city is gearing up for more snow this weekend.

Friday is expected to be mostly cloudy and windy, with gusts up to 20 mph and a high of 42 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. It’s expected to rain overnight.

Saturday will see temperatures dip, with a high of 38 degrees expected. The rain will continue into the morning and will turn into snow, though less than 1 inch of precipitation is expected, according to the weather agency. It will be breezy, with wind gusts up to 30 mph possible.

Sunday will see slightly more spring-y weather: It could warm up to 44 degrees, and the day will be mostly sunny and not as windy, with gusts up to 10 mph possible.

Early next week could see more wet weather, as there’s a chance for rain Monday, according to the National Weather Service. It could hit 43 degrees, though.

Tuesday is expected to be mostly sunny and even warmer, with a high of 46 possible.
