Air And Water Show, Jazz Fest And More: Here’s The Schedule For The City’s Spring, Summer Events

Other returning events include the Summer Film Series, SummerDance and Millennium Park Summer Workouts.

DOWNTOWN — The Jazz Festival, Air and Water Show and Blues Festival will return Downtown this summer.

The city’s events department announced Monday the Taste of Chicago is getting pushed back to September. But the city’s other traditional summer events will go on as usual, according to a schedule released Monday.

Other returning events include the Summer Film Series, SummerDance and Millennium Park Summer Workouts.

The schedule is subject to change, according to the department. Updates and more information is available on the city’s events website and Millennium Park’s website.

The schedule:

Chicago City Markets: May-October in various locations. More information online.

Memorial Day Wreath-Laying Ceremony and Parade: May 27 at Daley Plaza and State Street.

Millennium Park Summer Workouts: Most Saturdays May 27-Sept. 2.

Chicago Gospel Music Festival: June 3 in Millennium Park.

Chicago Blues Festival: June 8-11 in Millennium Park.

House Music Conference: June 23 at Chicago Cultural Center.

Chicago House Music Festival: June 24 on Humboldt Park Boathouse lawn June 24.

Taste of Chicago: June 24 in Humboldt Park, July 15 in Pullman Park and Aug. 5 in Marquette Park. It will culminate with the Downtown Taste Sept. 8-10 in Grant Park.

Millennium Park Summer Music Series: Mondays and Thursdays June 22-Aug 21 at the Pritzker Pavilion.

Millennium Park Summer Film Series: Tuesdays July 11-Aug. 29 at the Pritzker Pavilion.

Chicago SummerDance: July 15-Sept. 10 with various events citywide. More information online.

Chicago Air and Water Show: Aug. 19-20 at North Avenue Beach and along the lakefront.

Chicago Jazz Festival: Aug. 31-Sept. 3 in various locations.

World Music Festival Chicago: Sept. 22-Oct. 1 in various locations.
