Snow Flurries Hit Chicago Monday — And Rain And Snow Could Return Later This Week

The weather in Chicago will be all over the place this week.

CHICAGO — Light snow and breezy winds are expected to bookend a messy week of weather in Chicago.

Monday will see snow flurries throughout the day, with snow showers expected to peak between noon and 1 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Less than an inch of snow will hit the ground. It will be breezy with a daytime high near 35 degrees, according to the weather agency.

Snow flurries will continue into early Tuesday morning before sun peeks through, according to the weather agency. It’ll be sunny Tuesday with clear skies and a daytime high near 35 degrees.

Wednesday will be warmer with a daytime high near 49 degrees, according to the weather agency. It’ll be mostly sunny with some wind gusts.

Rain is likely Thursday after 2 p.m. and into the evening, according to the weather agency. It’ll be mostly cloudy with a daytime high near 51 degrees.

Friday has a chance of rain and snowy mixes with mostly cloudy skies, breezy air and a high near 45 degrees, according to the weather service. There’s a chance of snow overnight and into Saturday.
