LINCOLN PARK — A hip-hop ramen shop from a Chicago food behemoth has opened a new location along Halsted Street.

Ramen-san opened Friday at 1962 N. Halsted St. It’s the fourth location for Ramen-san, which is run by restaurant conglomerate Lettuce Entertain You. Other locations are in River North, Streeterville and Fulton Market.

The noodle soup shop will serve its signature dishes like spicy kimchi and fried chicken ramen and tonkotsu ramen — made with homemade slow-cooked pork broth, according to the restaurant. Vegetarian dishes like edamame hummus and kale and cashew salad will be new to the Lincoln Park menu.

Ramen-san is open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday.

Lunch and dinner dine-in will feature limited-edition “off menu” wagyu burgers, according to the restaurant.

Patrons can also try sake bombs, Japanese beer and whiskeys “to the tune of ’90s hip-hop,” according to a news release.

Lincoln Park’s Ramen-san is its first multi-level location, with seating for over 80 people. It can be booked for private events like late-night karaoke, bachelorette parties and corporate dinners.

The website for Ramen-san is here and its full menu is here. Reservations can be made here.
