WRIGLEYVILLE — Fall Out Boy is returning to Wrigley Field this summer for another hometown show.
Tickets to the June 21 show go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, according to Major League Baseball’s website.
Fall Out Boy formed in suburban Wilmette in 2001 and played their first show in the DePaul cafeteria. The band made the rounds in city’s punk scene before ascending to the top of charts in the mid-2000s.
The band also performed in Chicago last week at the Metro’s 40th anniversary celebration. Tickets sold out almost immediately.
The Wrigley Field show is one of a slew of concerts announced for the iconic baseball park this summer. Other shows include Dead & Company June 9-10, Morgan Wallen June 22-23 and P!nk Aug. 12.
