CHICAGO — Family and friends are appealing to the public for help finding a 25-year-old Northwestern University student who went missing after leaving a party early Sunday in Lincoln Park.

Peter Salvino left the party in the 2400 block of North Geneva Terrace about 12:14 a.m. Sunday, police said.

Restaurant the Wieners Circle, 2622 N. Clark St., released a surveillance photo of who they believe to be Salvino at the restaurant Saturday night, not long before he FaceTimed with a family member

“Peter Salvino is a regular at our store and is well-liked, this is so sad,” the Wieners Circle wrote, calling on the restaurant’s fans to help with the search.

Salvino was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and maroon pants, police said. He’s 6-foot-1 with brown eyes and brown hair.
