Andersonville
- Gethsemane Garden Center, 5739 N. Clark St., open 9 a.m.-6 p.m. daily. During the winter, the shop is filled to the brim with poinsettias, which you can order online here. Gethsemane also offers custom wreaths, garlands, winter bulbs for planting and kiln-dried firewood.
- Jewel Osco, 5516 N. Clark St., open 9 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.
Avondale
- Home Depot, 3500 N. Kimball Ave., open 6 a.m.-9 p.m. daily. Trees cost $60-$170 depending on size.
Back of the Yards
- Home Depot, 4555 S. Western Blvd., open 6 a.m.-9 p.m. daily. Trees cost $60-$170 depending on size.
- Tree Giveaway at tree-lighting ceremony, 4-6 p.m. Dec. 6 at 4600 S. Damen Ave. In addition to the tree giveaway, kids can write letters to Santa and participate in family-friendly activities.
Beverly
- Givins Beverly Castle, 10244 S. Longwood Drive, open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 3-4 and Dec. 10-11. Trees cost $85. The trees usually sell out quickly, but you can reserve one online here.
Bucktown
- The Old Vienna Beef Factory, 2501 N. Damen Ave., open 9 a.m.-10 p.m. daily. Trees start at $25, and you can buy wreaths and garland. Pets are welcome.
Burnside
- Pete’s Tree Lot, 9380 S. Stony Island Ave., open 9 a.m. -9 p.m. daily.
Edgebrook/Sauganash
- Whole Foods, 6020 N. Cicero Ave., open 8 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
- Meinke’s Garden Center, 5803 W. Touhy Ave., open 8 a.m.-7 p.m. daily. If you’re able to venture to the nearby suburb Niles, you’ll find a wide selection of Christmas trees, poinsettias and firewood.
Edgewater
- Whole Foods, 6009 N. Broadway, open 8 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
Forest Glen
- Poor Bob’s Tree Land, 4855 W. Foster Ave., open 9 a.m.-8 p.m. weekdays, 8 a.m.-8 p.m. weekends. If you’re not willing to commit to a whole tree, you can buy a tree-shaped wreath.
Fulton Market
- Whole Foods, 1 N. Halsted St., open 8 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
Garfield Park
- City Escape Garden and Design Center, 3022 W. Lake St., open 9 a.m.-6 p.m. daily. The center offers real and faux foliage, including trees, holiday flowers and outdoor arrangements.
Goose Island
- Jack’s Winter Village, 1265 W. LeMoyne Ave. You can buy a ticket to explore the Christmas tree farm here. Once you’ve secured the perfect tree, you can ice skate, go sledding or throw axes while enjoying holiday-themed cocktails.
Hermosa
- Home Depot, 1919 N. Cicero Ave., open 6 a.m.-9 p.m. daily. Trees cost $60-$170 depending on size.
Humboldt Park
- Adams & Son & Daughter Gardens, 1057 N. California Ave., open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sundays.
- Christy Webber Farm & Garden, 2833 W. Chicago Ave., open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday-Monday and closed Tuesdays. Trees cost $25-$300 depending on size.
Hyde Park
- Whole Foods, 5118 S. Lake Park Ave., open 8 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
Irving Park
- Farmers Market Garden Center, 4110 N. Elston Ave., open 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturdays and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Sundays. If you want to wow your family with an expertly decorated tree, but don’t want to do the work, the center will customize a tree for you for $279.
Jefferson Park
- Mariano’s, 5353 N. Elston Ave., open 6 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
Lakeview
- Ivy’s Christmas Trees, 1013 W. Roscoe St., open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sundays. Trees cost $99-$450 depending on the size. You can also buy garlands, holiday planters and wreaths.
- Tuco & Blondie, 3358 N. Southport Ave., open 4-9 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m.-9 p.m. weekends.
- Nettlehorst School, 3252 N. Broadway, open 9 a.m.-9 p.m. daily. Staff replenishes the selection of trees and wreaths daily, plus there’s a playground for kids to burn energy before choosing a tree.

Lincoln Park

- Queen of Angels Elementary, 4520 N. Western Ave., open 6-9 p.m. Wednesday-Friday and 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.
Logan Square
- Chicago’s Christmas Trees, 2429 W. Fullerton Ave., open 9 a.m.-9 p.m. daily. In addition to trees, you’ll find a wide selection of holiday garlands and wreaths.

Near North Side/Old Town
- Chicago Christmas Tree Lot, 401 W. North Ave., open 9 a.m.-9 p.m. daily. Trees start at $25, and you can buy wreaths and garlands. Pets are welcome.

North Center

Ukrainian Village
- Columbus Elementary Christmas tree sale, 1003 N. Leavitt St., open 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Dec. 7 and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 8. Trees cost $75-$110 and are cheaper if you order online ahead here. Families can enjoy photos with Santa, holiday arts and crafts as well as a bake sale.
West Ridge
- Home Depot, 6211 N. Lincoln Ave., open 6 a.m.-9 p.m. daily. Trees cost $60-$170 depending on size.
West Town:
- Sprout Home, 745 N. Damen Ave., open 11 a.m.-6 p.m. daily. Trees cost $60-$120 depending on size. In addition to its tree and wreath selection, the shop offers festive mantle pieces and winter-scented candles. You can place orders online here.
- Home Depot, 1232 W. North Ave., open 6 a.m.-9 p.m. daily. Trees cost $60-$170 depending on size.
Wicker Park
- Big Star, 1531 N. Damen Ave., will have trees available for pickup if you order ahead online here. You can also choose for the tree to be delivered directly to your door.
