CHICAGO — Halloween is over — which means it’s time for Christmas music on 93.9 LITE FM.

The station will begin playing Christmas music 24/7 starting 4 p.m. Tuesday — when it’ll start with three hours of commercial-free music, host Mick Lee announced on Facebook. Fans can listen on the radio or online.

The station has held the holiday music marathon for 22 years.

But this is the earliest 93.9 has started its Christmas music marathon. Before this year, the earliest it had started was Nov. 2 in 2006, according to media reporter Robert Feder.
