Aragon Ballroom To Turn Into Casino For Uptown Chamber Fundraiser

UPTOWN — The Aragon Ballroom will again turn into a casino for a fundraiser to benefit the local business community.

Uptown United’s Uptown Casino returns 5-9:30 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Aragon Ballroom, 1106 W. Lawrence Ave.

The event serves as a fundraiser for business development agency Uptown United and the the Uptown Chamber of Commerce.

The event will include casino games such as poker, blackjack, roulette and craps. There will be live music from the Lakeside Pride Jazz Orchestra, a dance floor and entertainment produced by the Baton Lounge.

Guests playing casino games will play to win chips that can be redeemed for tickets for a raffle at the end of the night, according to organizers at Uptown United and the Uptown Chamber of Commerce.

Tickets start at $25. All tickets come with casino chips. Food from local restaurants and drinks will be available and are included in some ticket packages.
