EDGEWATER — A neighborhood volunteer group is bringing back its book sale this month after being on hiatus more than three years.
The book sale is 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 15 and 1:30-4 p.m. Oct. 16. It will be hosted in the Edgewater Branch Library’s Betty A. Barclay Community Room on the second floor, at 6000 N. Broadway.
Hardcovers are $3 each or two for $5; paperbacks are $2 each or three for $5; and children’s books are $2 each or three for $5. You can also fill a bag with books for $10 3-4 p.m. Oct. 16.
There will be more than 20 genres of gently used books, including biographies, cookbooks, self-help, photography, foreign language, poetry, adventure, classics, romance and more.
The sale is hosted by the Friends of the Edgewater Library, a non-profit that helps raise funds for materials and programming at the Edgewater branch.
